Setting off from the Ouseburn area of Newcastle, this cycling tour explores the course of the river Tyne, past Hadrian’s Wall and the historic Fish Quay, to its mouth at the historic and picturesque seaside village of Tynemouth.

Find out more about Tyneside’s proud shipbuilding past which dominated the banks of the River Tyne for centuries.

Experience the vibe of the historic North Shields Fish Quay, famous for its fresh seafood – in particular langoustines and king prawns! Enjoy a seafood lunch and tour!

Continue into Tynemouth, maybe take a stroll along the famous Longsands beach and make your way back to Newcastle at your own leisure.

At Tyneside Tour Company, the safety & health of our guests are always of paramount importance to us. This seafood cycling tour has been optimised for post Covid-19 walking/cycling tours & follows our health protocols.
